"Patients entered into the medical cannabis authorization database and who hold a recognition card may purchase up to three times the current limits at licensed retail stores with a medical cannabis endorsement, possess six plants and eight ounces of usable cannabis, and, if authorized by their healthcare practitioner, may grow up to 15 plants and possess up to 16 ounces of usable cannabis produced from their plants. Patients with a valid authorization who are not entered into the database may grow up to four plants and possess up to six ounces of usable cannabis for personal medical use within their domicile." - doh.wa.gov

"Qualifying patients and designated providers with a valid authorization may purchase cannabis from any licensed retail store with a medical cannabis endorsement. Registered patients with a recognition card are eligible for higher purchase limits and tax exemptions on DOH-compliant products." - doh.wa.gov

"The qualifying patient or designated provider may also grow, in his or her domicile, up to six plants for the personal medical use of the qualifying patient and possess up to eight ounces of useable cannabis produced from his or her plants. If the health care professional determines that the medical needs of a qualifying patient exceed the amounts provided for in subsection (1) of this section, the health care professional must specify on the authorization that it is recommended that the patient be allowed to grow, in his or her domicile, up to fifteen plants for the personal medical use of the patient." - app.leg.wa.gov
